Aims and Objectives: This course aims to overcome the barriers during the listening process, one of the four essential English skills. With an adequate amount of listening practices, it enables the students to smoothly conduct daily conversations, easily follow the lectures, and keep up to the pace of English news broadcasting programs without difficulty.

Course Contents:  Teachers are required to analyze the essence of the listening process and clarify relevant listening skills.  Through listening and understanding English listening materials, students are thus provided with vivid expressions and idiomatic usages.  Furthermore, learners¡¯ psychological impediments in listening are to be eliminated so that they can savor the English language.

Exams: Closed-book written examination
